PVC Flooring Badminton Court with Big Sand

Big Sand (coarse sand) is an enhanced version of crystal sand, featuring larger particles and deeper grooves to mimic the texture of coarse quartz sand. The texture is more pronounced, with larger spacing, and a rougher feel. Its core design goals are stronger grip, faster sweat wicking, and suitability for high-frequency training and humid environments. It provides a more stable feel than fine sand during sudden stops and changes of direction, while retaining some slippage for gliding saves.

Like crystal sand, it belongs to a multi-layer composite system, but its structure differs in the following ways:
Surface abrasion layer (1.0–1.5 mm pure PVC): Transparent or semi-transparent, highlighting the coarse sand particles, with a higher abrasion resistance coefficient;

A 5.0mm thick layer uses black polyester mesh fiberglass. The fiberglass layer can be single-layered or double-layered; double-layered is recommended to ensure the floor’s lifespan and stability, preventing irreversible dents later on.

Performance advantages:

Compared to ordinary crystal sand, it offers superior slip resistance in wet environments, making it suitable for heavy, stable, and power-oriented players.

More suitable for high-frequency sports, high-perspiration, and humid areas. When playing, you can land more stably, you won’t get tired easily during long training sessions, and you’ll have a stronger grip.
